Camp EDGE Kick Off

Let’s Decorate!  We will be spending this day getting all geared up for Camp EDGE.  Kids will get some neat Camp EDGE gear along with their Camp EDGE Music CD!

July 19^th                                                                                                        

 Week 1, Trek to the Promised Land

EDGE Pledge – “God is with me.  I will stay close to God.”

• BIBLE STORY – Joshua 1:1-11; 3:1-4:18
• COLOR – Be sure to wear BLUE today!
• CRAFT & SNACK - Bodacious Bandanna’s, Promise Land Power Bars
• DISCOVERY- Bethlehem Bolt

July 26^th                                                                                        

WEEK 2, TREK TO BETHLEHEM

EDGE Pledge – “God Guides me.  I will follow.”               

• BIBLE STORY – Matthew 2:1-12
• COLOR – Come dressed in YELLOW!
• CRAFT & SNACK – Camp EDGE Bracelets, Bethlehem Blueberry Muffins
• DISCOVERY- Crazy Course Challenge

August 2^nd

Week 3, Trek to the Pharisee’s House

EDGE Pledge – “God teaches me. I will learn.”

• BIBLE STORY – Luke 14:7-14
• COLOR – Come to church wearing GREEN today plus your SUNGLASSES.
• CRAFT & SNACK- Rucksacks, Teamwork Trail Mix
• DISCOVERY- Scavenger Hunt

August 9^th

Week 4, Trek to the Upper Room

EDGE Pledge – “God loves me.  I will love God and others.”

• BIBLE STORY - John 13:3-20; 13-33-14:30; 16:12-18:1
• COLOR – RED is the color of the day…plus your craziest HAT!
• CRAFT & SNACK - God’s Eye, Campfire S’mores
• DISCOVERY- Disc Derby

August 16^th

Week 5, Trek to Galilee

EDGE Pledge - “God sends me. I will go.”

• BIBLE STORY – Matthew 28:1-10, 16-20
• COLOR – Wear PURPLE today!
• CRAFT & SNACK- Tie Dye T-Shirts, Camp Fruit Kabobs
• DISCOVERY- Campfire Telephone

August 23^rd

CAMP EDGE PERFORMANCE & PARTY

Camp EDGE Party & Wrap up!  Kids will be performing Camp EDGE songs in church and showing off all the neat things we did during the Summer!
