These evening sessions are designed for anyone new to St. Bart's or the Episcopal Church as well as long time members who are interested in learning more about the Episcopal Church and have an opportunity to ask questions (including questions about faith itself). We will cover topics such as history, spirituality and liturgy, music in worship, and mission.
In addition, if folks are interested in Confirmation or Reception into the Episcopal Church, or to reaffirm their baptismal vows when Bishop Susan Brown Snook visits on March 1, 2020, at the 10:15 a.m. service, this class provides a good foundation.
Each class will begin with a light supper.

You are invited to attend individual sessions if a particular topic is of interest. Below is the class schedule:

September 18 - Introduction to Holy Scripture with the Rev. Bill Zettinger

September 25 - Liturgy and Music with John-Luke Addison, Director of Music

October 2 - A Very Brief History of the Church with the Rev. Canon Allisyn Thomas

October 9 - Anglican Spirituality with the Rev. Canon Allisyn Thomas

October 16 - The Way of Love: Our Work in the World with the Rev. Mark McKone-Sweet

If you are interested or have any questions, please contact the Rev. Canon Allisyn Thomas.
