Compassionate Cooks

Compassionate Cooks is a ministry that provides meals to parishioners of St. Bart’s in need. Through the Clergy staff those in need are identified through prayer and requests. Meals are then prepared and delivered. We also participate in a Christmas cookie outreach to Interfaith Community Services in December where the cooks that are willing bake 3 dozen cookies and package them for distribution.

We’ve also traditionally helped with the Senior Wisdom Luncheon at our church by helping to prepare the food. The Sr Wisdom Lunch is an annual event where all those in the parish over 80 young years are recognized for their continuations to the life and leaning of the world, our country and the church. The Senior Wisdom Luncheon is held in May of each year.
